The 100 Days Offensive led to the end of the war and
to the Treaty of Versailles, a peace treaty that was decidedly not in the Central
Power's favour. Prior to the Offensive, the Germans had hoped for a very different
kind of peace plan that would have greatly expanded Germany's size and influence
